Former 3SC midfielder, Azeez Shobowale has successfully completed his switch to Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars.
The former Dolphins midfielder has already joined the Pyramid City side for their final phase of pre-season camping in Kaduna for the commencement of the 2013/14 Glo Premier League this Friday.Shobowale said his mission to the fallen Caf Champions League campaigners is to assist them to quickly return back to the continent as well as defend their Glo Premier League title.
"I've signed for Kano Pillars today (Tuesday) for the upcoming league season. I've been training with the side for some days and right now I'm there in Kaduna where we're having final preparations for the new season.
Shobowale's first assignment will be the Glo Premier League Match day 1 encounter at newcomers, Giwa FC in Jos and the former Nigerian youth international said his is ready for the duel.
"Our 100% attention right now is on the league so we're ready for Giwa FC. We'll give them a tough challenge, at least, we'll allow them have a little taste of Pillars," Shobowale said.
