NPFL:Ndubuisi talks tough for FC Taraba

FC Taraba head coach, Nduka Ndubuisi, has said his side will stand to be counted in their debut campaign in the Glo Premier League.
The Jalingo-based side are among the debutants in the Nigeria elite league this term alongside FC Giwa, Abia Warriors and Crown FC.
The side will kick off their league campaign against Nasarawa United in the Glo Premier League Match day 1 tie on Saturday at the Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo.
Ndubuisi said his side have done their homework perfectly well for the commencement of the league believing the side will be able to start their campaign on a winning note against Nasarawa United.
"Of course, we're in the Premier League to be counted. In fact, the mandate of the management is for us to maintain the status quo of the team in its first stint in the elite league.
"The mandate specifies first to 16th position on the log which I strongly believe is achievable.
"Once we're able to meet the target we would've been a huge success then we take it up from there.
"I think the first test to our resolve to achieve the mandate will be on Saturday when we confront Nasarawa United in the opening day match of the 2013/14 Glo Premier League in Jalingo.
"We've worked round the clock to ensure we get off the ground very well, I think we're ready for the league and against Nasarawa United on Saturday.
"Though team building is a continuous work, we have a decent side that will give us victory on Saturday.
Ndubuisi, who will be playing his first game as the helmsman of the side, said he is not under any pressure going into the encounter against the Lafia-based side.
"No, there is no pressure on me, we'll do what is right believing that the work we put in will be good enough to give us victory," said the former Plateau United coach.
