Nigeria Professional Football League giants MFM FC of Lagos have emerged winners of the first edition of Western Nigeria Pre-season tourney following a thrilling 3-1 comeback against Nigeria League One side 36Lion FC at the Agege Township stadium.
Bakare Emmanuel scored the opener in the 40th minute through a cross from Oluka Onyeka to give his side the lead before Victor Mbaoma netted the equalised for the Olukoya Boys in the 60th minute.
Three minutes later, Monsuru Bashiru found the back of the net to overturn the Lions .
Oche Salefu then scored in the 75th minute to seal MFM’s victory.
MFM will enroute Kano to participate in the Nigeria Professional Football League Super Six competition which will start on Monday.
They are drawn in Group B with the host and Aiteo Cup champions Akwa United.
