The league organisers have slammed the Skyblues with a hefty fine and other sanctions for the unruly behaviour of their fans, Naijasportsplanet reports.
Remo Stars have been fined six million naira and have been banished to Oshogbo for their next three home matches among other sanctions imposed on them by the League Management Company for the unruly behaviour of their fans in one of the opening fixtures of the 2018-19 season against Bendel Insurance in Sagamu.
Hon Kunle Soname, proprietor of Remo Stars, is suspended from all NPFL match venues for the next three matches.
Also Remo Stars Team Manager has been suspended for rest of the Season.
“Remo Stars shall forfeit three points from their accrued points should they breach similar league rules in the course of this season.
“Remo Stars are required to identify, ensure the apprehension and prosecution by relevant security agencies to produce the two supporters involved in attack”.
“Remo Stars have 48 hours from date of notice to accept or appeal the sanctions.”
