Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr said England will find it difficult to cope with his team when they play in the pre-World Cup friendly June 2 at the Wembley Stadium in London.
Rohr based his assumption on the fact that the Three Lions players will be tired from the demanding European League season.
The German noted that there are no winter-breaks in the Premier League and the Three Lions stars will be tired after a demanding season, with some of the players also featuring in the Champions League, Europa League, League Cup and FA Cup.
‘’It is also a very young team, for me this team can do very well in the World Cup,’’ Rohr said to ExtraTimeSoccerLive.
‘’The problem with the English team is that the season is so long, in June it is not so easy for them to be at the top level.
‘’I think they are well prepared, they have some young players who can recover very quickly.
‘’The game is at Wembley , the temple of football. This is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
For us it is a wonderful adventure to go there.’’in the world. For us it is a wonderful adventure to go there.’’
