The management of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi set free 10 players out the squad registered for the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, NaijaSportsPlanet reports.
According to the club’s General Manager, Auwalu Baba Jada, three key members of the squad goalkeeper Emeka Nwabulu, Chukwudi Samuel and Emenike Onuoha were placed on the transfer market while the management refused to renew the contract of the remaining seven players who were on loan at the club.
The remaining seven players include Lukman Haruna, Victor Yakubu, Anyanwu Nnameka, Ajoku Chidebere Ismail Bagayan, Ahmed Male and Gambo Gideon.
However, over 30 players attended the team’s screening exercise which started on Tuesday.
The screening was supervised by the team’s technical adviser Bala Nikyu , Chief coach Mangwut, Patrick Pascal MON and Umar Ilelah.
