The management of Shooting stars sports club confirmed the appointment of Ex super eagles player Olumide Edith Agoye as substantive Head coach for the next football season in the Nigeria National League, NaijaSportsPlanet reports.
3SC will play in the Nigeria National League (NNL) next season after a failed bid to stay up in the NPFL last term.
Agoye was the Chief Coach under Fatai Amoo as the Technical Adviser in the 2016/17 season.
The club’s Executive Chairman, Mr Gbolagade Busari said the management settled for Agoye primarily because of his knowledge about the composition of the team and to maintain continuity in the development of the young players who will form the fulcrum of the new Shooting Stars.
He further said the mandate given to the new Head Coach is to “work assiduously” to return the team to the elite of the Nigeria Premier League.
