Crown have fired 14 of their players after they finished fifth in the National League last season .
The Ogbomoso club garnered 50 points in the Southern Conference and missed out on promotion to the Premier League .
Spokesman for the side , Kunle Oyeleye , the management were not pleased with the performance of the team .
Oyeleye said the club management reviewed the players ’ performances and resolved to sack 14 of the 30 players registered for last season, the club retained 16 players .
Some of the sacked players include Uche Daniel, Raji Lateef , Akeem Ibrahim, Kevwe Akpota , Kamoru Suleiman, Nicholas Egiribga and Osinachi Charles . Others are Alaba Johnson , Pascal Nwabue , Gbemi Emmanuel, Sylvester Francis , Afolabi Timothy, Samuel Onuekwuebe and Femi Ajayi.
Some of the players retained are Adeniyi Adejare ( club captain ), Araromi Ibukun , Tayo Johnson , Gbadamosi Fatai , Moses Ajik, Akinola Abiodun and Owoicho Edoka. Others are Ugochukwu Anozie , Isah saadu , UsmanOseni , Gbenga Laningnan , Andrew Kabgat , Fimihan Atinushola , Saadu Folorunsho , Ibrahim Akinbode and Waheed Bello.
Oyeleye said the entitlements of the sacked players would be paid , adding that the club were looking out for new players who would work hard to ensure the achievement of their Premier League promotion target next season.
