At the Launch of FC Fareed who has joined hands to support and give back to the community They unveiled their club at their camp in Lagos state which was held on Wednesday 11th June. The event which was held in Lagos, was attended by Ex-internationals, players from football club, and journalists. The program will focus on identifying the upcoming football talents in the grassroots and will unveil them on the national stage by providing a platform for them to show their skills. The football club is open. ‘The Fc Fareed is designed to provide a structured platform for scouts, coaches, football authorities and other partners to tap into a vast pool of upcoming talent, courtesy of the program and build strong soccer talent feeder systems for our league and national teams’, President of the club Smith Abiola Bayo says "the players are the ambassadors to blend for them to get in to higher future in life in other to play in either the national U-17,U-20,U-23".
However, FC Fareed has signed and unveiled the Coach of Staruf Football Academy Da'silva Adedeji while they also sign Media Officer Abidoye Babatunde, and also Technical Director Ebhodaghe Fiedelis with a contract basis. Fc fareed we be going on tour to Egypt,Albania,Azerbaijan in other to have friendly tours with some clubs they can partner with in helping the community
