BRENTFORD full-back Moses Odubajo has been approached for a Nigeria call-up, NaijaSportsPlanet reports.
The 25-year-old, who played for England’s youth teams under Aidy Boothroyd, is set to switch countries to play in the African Nations Cup.
Odubajo has battled back from two year of injury hell with a dislocated knee to rejoin Brentford this season and get regular games in the Championship.
And he will get rewarded with an international call-up after getting on the radar of Nigeria boss Gerard Rohr.
Odubajo will be included in the squad fo next year’s qualifier against Seychelles, with the finals now held at the end of the season in Cameroon.
Earlier this season Odubajo admitted he considered QUITTING during his two years of injury hell.
Moses Odubajo played for England U20s in 2015 - but has yet to make a senior appearance for the Three Lions.
The 25-year-old made five appearances under Aidy Boothroyd's England stewardship - but he is poised to switch and play for Nigeria.
Odubajo left Griffin Park three years ago for Hull but his last game for them was the Championship play-off final when he celebrated getting to the Premier League.
But he has made a solid start to Brentford's Championship campaign.
He has made seven appearances, but is yet to score for the Bees so far.
