Zambia coach Wedson Nyirenda has described back to back fixtures against Algeria in the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifying race as hectic.
Nyirenda said in an interview after a team’s training session at Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui on Sunday evening that playing back to back fixtures might have a toll on the players.
Zambia face Algeria tonight in a reverse fixture three days after the Chipolopolo won 3-1 at Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium.
Nyirenda, however, said his players have the character to overcome fatigue and get a positive result in Algeria.
He is confident the team will put up a spirited performance against the Desert Foxes.
